Let’s be honest. We are not the biggest venue in town.
We certainly are not the fanciest.
We have flowers named Fred and Llamo instead of crystal chandeliers imported from somewhere that requires a passport.
If you want marble staircases and a ballroom that echoes, there are beautiful venues in Cincinnati that do that very well. What we do better is something else.
The Dudeist Ministers and our Cincinnati Wedding Chapel exists for couples who care more about meaning than square footage.
Other venues stage weddings. We host couples in love. Those couples walk in nervous and leave married. Sometimes laughing, sometimes crying, and often both. That is the point.
We have married cancer survivors, immigrant couples who needed to marry quickly, and same sex couples who were told no somewhere else. All couples who simply wanted something simple and honest without a five figure invoice attached to it.
They wanted love that didn’t require going into debt.
A traditional wedding venue in Cincinnati can cost thousands just to walk through the door. That is before food, flowers and a DJ.
Our space is free to use for any of our couples.
Yes. Free.
All you have to do is pay for our wedding officiant. That means our overall cost is still thousands less than most traditional venues.
Not because it lacks heart.
Because we do not believe couples should start their marriage in debt.
We do not charge extra for authenticity.
We do not charge extra for kindness.
We definitely do not charge extra for love.
The Cincinnati Wedding Chapel was created for people who want a wedding that feels like them.

We are proud of what we are. A space where the focus is on the two people getting married, not the décor competing for attention.
