My name is Jonathan Hill, and I am a Dudeist Minister.
I have legally joined more than 500 couples in marriage as a wedding officiant in Cincinnati. I still get a little stunned that this is my life. I get to stand with two people who love each other so much they are willing to sign paperwork about it. That is a good day in my book.
I love connecting good people. It is the same reason I am also a social worker. Helping others matters to me. Social work can be tough some days. This is why I am grateful for every couple I meet. The love they share gives me hope. It recharges me. It reminds me that people are still trying to build something good together.
On top of all that, I run a Cincinnati based Meetup group called I Want To Do That, Just Not Alone. Its a group for people to make platonic friends and have adventures without the awkward “so who else is going?” moment. If you want to meet new people, show up for a pickleball trip, or volunteer with folks who actually care, join the group. We do everything from hikes to service days. It is a simple idea. Put good people in the same place and see what happens.
Here are the services I offer
• Custom weddings built around your story
• Traditional weddings that keep things classic
• Themed or costumed weddings for couples who want something fun
• Elopements for a simple and meaningful ceremony
• Sign n Go ceremonies for couples who only need the legal part done
If you want a ceremony that feels genuine, personal, and a little more human than the usual script, I would be honored to join you.
Every kind of love belongs here.
